We were here for three nights and found it a very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, spacious, contemporary room with high ceilings. Beautiful breakfast room. Would stay here again if we’re ever back to Amsterdam.

Had a great short stay at the Lancaster. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was great. I found the staff polite and helpful. Also great to be so close to the Artis Zoo and tram stop.

Good value for price as Amsterdam in summer is very crowded and packed with tourists. It's a good deal but don't expect much as this is not the Hilton as it's lacking a fridge but included breakfast and good location so overall decent value.

Hotel was clean but the rooms were small. The is a lack of air flow of any sort in the room therefor you cant control the temperature but they did have a fan which was nice.

Stay at the Lancaster Hotel!

We had everything we needed. The bed was a king and very comfortable. They cleaned the room daily which they don’t do in the states anymore. They were incredibly friendly and helpful at check-in. The buffet breakfast offered was reasonably priced, had a huge selection of food and everything was incredibly tasty. My only comments would be that the bathroom needs more light and the towels could be of higher quality. But that’s really small stuff! All in all, loved it. And the location was perfect. Out of the crazy but near a tram and easy to get anywhere we wanted to go.

This is a friendly place in a university part of town. Good eateries locally and a really positive feel in the area and close to metro and tram. You can walk into town in 20-30 mins. I stayed for a week for work and found it a friendly place.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood but still so convenient to get around the city! Tram stop was very close! Staff were helpful and friendly! Lots of great cafes around to choose from! If i ever go back to Amsterdam I woukd stay here again!

The staff were friendly and smiling and the entrance and reception area were lovely. WiFi worked great no issues. Everything was within walking distance (30 mins max) which was helpful. Our TV was broken and the hairdryer fell apart when I picked it up. The room itself was smaller than expected for the price we paid, bathroom tiny and smelt damp (no window or extractor in there, toilet was practically under the sink). The sheets weren’t cleaned on the one occasion the room was cleaned (they clean every 3 days here unless asked other wise for the environment?) and also didn’t change our towels. I’m honestly not really sure what was actually done when they ‘cleaned’ other than making the bed. Overall the stay was fine but the room and facilities were disappointing.

The room was in the basement so it was not as perfect as I would like. But in general the room was ok (at least we had a window to see outside). The localization is perfect there are many places to eat and is close to many attractions
