The breakfast was great, but the staff was terrific. It was my first time in Amsterdam (I was there alone) and the staff were very helpful with ideas for places to go for dinner (away from the touristy spots), best ways to get around the city and just sooo friendly.

The Rho is an older hotel, but the rooms are clean and well maintained. The central location is perfect to walk to almost everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good too. Our only problem was with street noise, as we had to leave windows open because of the warm temperatures. But other than that this is a good hotel at a reasonable price.

The location is perfect, mere steps from Dam Square and the breakfast exceeded expectations. During my stay I needed my air-con which was effective in an instant. I would definitely stay again and can highly recommend!

Truly such a central location, incredibly easy from Amsterdam Centraal station to get to! Amenities were great, there is no AC in the rooms (typical for Europe) but there was a small fan that you can point to your room. A very peculiar room layout - maybe this was a school dorm in another life - but the rooms are MASSIVE. Free breakfast was also super robust, full of both Dutch breakfast items and other more Americanized breakfast pieces. Truly such an easy and smooth experience!
