We had an excellent experience at Best Western Zaan Inn. Sophia was the best, she was super helpful in every way and her customer service was top notch. Wish every hotel had staff as great as her.

Very thin walls, you can hear everything from the hallway and adjoining rooms. But very clean, modernized and served my purpose well. Close to the train, which is within walking distance, and shopping too. Very helpful staff.

Clean hotel, very near the train station and the town, where we went each evening for food. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. Not so keen on the vending machines, they did run out of drinks, not great when there's 12 of us, but we coped! Parking was convenient, but it didn't always like our number plates (we're from the UK)!

A modern clean room - with excellent staff, that were friendly and very efficient. The hotel is within the city of Zandaam for all the amenities you could wish for, and has a great direct railway line connecting Zandaam to Amsterdam in only 12 minutes

The hotel location is outskirts of the Amsterdam but superb convenient due to its near to the Albert Heijn and Zaandam and the windmills area. You can do online check in but the downside I found bed bug on the second day which is not good.

The hotel was very basic, but had everything we needed. The self check-in was easy to follow. When we arrived, our shower was broken, but the staff were excellent and replaced it while we were out for the day. It was located very close to Zaandam station and was a perfect base for visiting Amsterdam each day.

The hotel was OK, but there are some points to be aware of. Surroundings are not very pleasant, rats are roaming around the car park. Also the corridors of the hotel had the distinctive Amsterdam smell due to smoking something stronger than cigarettes in the rooms. There is no front desk, check in is self service. There is usually one staff on duty hiding in a corner. But staff is nice and helpful when approached.

The room was excellent and it comes with a fridge! You buy your own food and drinks at the supermarket Albert Hijn , which is almost at the hotel parking area, foot steps away! And this hotel is at the best location ever , also foot steps away from the Zaandam Train Station!

I highly recommend this property. Huge rooms for Europe and right next to Zandaam train to Amsterdam. There's also groceries in the same parking lot which saved us tons of money. Really happy with our stay.

We got a big, clean, well equipped room. One zone for my kids and a separated bedroom for me and my wife. Hotel located just 5 minutes from Zaandam train startion, grocery store next to door. The staff was really helpful durin check-in, ckeck-out and when we needed information about travelling to other places.
