"The property as a whole has a lot to look at between the market, coffee shop, & bar areas, however actually settling into our room and sleeping there a couple nights made it apparent there were some basic conveniences that are lacking. The room/amenities: The room is chic & minimalistic but the minimalism came at a cost of no rugs or carpeting which made our feet cold. We also noticed quickly there are 0 lamps in the room. The main light source is overhead with a neon sign on the wall, but nothing for you to have at your bedside or couch, so the lighting is either 0% or 100%. The ceiling fans also wouldn't turn off fully, even with the dial put all the way down, so it made it more chilly in addition to the cement floors. I would also recommend adding a shower curtain to extend the walls of the shower as the walk in lets in a draft while in the shower. We also noticed dust bunnies large enough to be seen across the room in areas like the corner of the living room & behind the bedroom door. The service: I had forgotten my toothbrush and the placards in the room say they have toothbrushes available if one is forgotten; I think I talked to about 4 different employees including a manager and the cleaning staff and no one seemed to know this was being advertised. They said I could buy one at one of their vendors downstairs, but they don't open until 10am. It is also advertised that the hotel staff will only be available between 8a-10p but they were not easy to find or call."

"Long travel day with 3 kids. Arrived late. Booked on Expedia and messaged property ahead to let them know of arrival time. Front desk staff was horrendous and VERY put out by having to check me in (despite it being a 5 minute process). Reluctant to answer questions about breakfast and gym. Room was dirty and had a terrible smell. Tub had no plug and bathroom fan likely has mold. Morning staff member was VERY kind and pleasant, likely would’ve been a different experience had she checked us in and been our first point of contact."
