"This was a last min book and for being a 5 star in Iquitos it was quite nice and a good break from the weather but with most pricy hotels, you pay for everything. We had gotten a room that was facing the pool area, very nice and quiet. We were then changed to a different room due to a “mistake” that was facing the plaza, meh it was super loud and not calming at all when you want a break from all the buzz. There’s a carafe to heat up water which is always a plus for me so that I don’t have to...

"Very strange rooms with no natural light (no windows, only wood panels) and very expensive for what it is. The restaurant of the hotel is particularly bad, very expensive and all the food I was served was over cooked and dry (dry rice, dry grilled fish, dried up pancetta in my carbonatará etc.), they really need a better chef.
