Cozy Swedish Waldhof Marie - in a secluded location - fireplace & nature

Renovated in 2023, this vacation home is located west of Åmål in the northern part of the Västergötland region. The approximately 4,000 m² property is secluded and isolated in the middle of the forest. Here you’ll find peace and relaxation.

The vacation home has a living area of approximately 140 m² and can accommodate up to 5 people. Upon entering the house, you’ll find yourself in a hallway with a coat closet. Directly to the left is the bathroom with a toilet and shower. From the bathroom, you’ll continue into the utility room. Here you’ll find a washing machine and a large freezer, as well as plenty of storage space and a sink. Heading back through the bathroom, you’ll return to the hallway and then turn right into the kitchen with a small dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped and features, among other things, a 4-burner ceramic cooktop with an oven and a dishwasher. The old wood-burning stove cannot be used and serves as a decorative piece. Through the hallway, you continue into the living room with an adjoining dining room. The living room features a cozy corner sofa, a TV with German channels, and a fireplace. The dining room is open to the living room and features a large dining table that seats a total of 6 people. Through the hallway, a staircase leads to the upper floor. Once upstairs, you’ll find yourself in a large room with a cozy sitting area. From this room, you can access the two bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 cm wide), and the second with two single beds (90 cm wide each) and a sleeper sofa (140 cm wide). In front of the house is a cozy covered patio. Patio furniture, two sun loungers, and a grill are provided.

Internet and firewood are provided free of charge.

Bed linens and towels are not provided at the property and must be brought with you.

Note: Unfortunately, it is not possible to charge electric cars at the house.

Grocery stores and restaurants are located in the town of Åmal, approximately 11 kilometers away.

There are several lakes in the area. Swimming spots are located about 3.6 kilometers and about 13 kilometers away.

The nearest fishing lake is “Nedre Kalven,” about a 5-minute drive away.

A large golf course at the Forsbacka Golf Club is about 6 kilometers away.
