"We added Gondramaz to our itinerary at the last minute and this stay ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. João was very helpful, accommodating and quick to reply. The place was spotless, charming and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The house was tastefully renovated and furnished while keeping the original look of the schist house. It is deceptively large for its location, and its spot in the village allows for most windows and the backyard to overlook the beautiful...

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."

"Casa Lerryn is a true gem in central Portugal. Our family of four had an idyllic two-week stay and couldn’t have asked for more. The villa is cosy and full of traditional charm, with everything you need for cooking or BBQs. The beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly.The outdoor space is incredible — the pool was a highlight (especially during the hot weather), and the outside kitchen and dining area offered stunning views and peaceful sounds of nature. While the pool area is a sunny haven, the shaded seating areas nearby were perfect for relaxing. Our daughters loved the meadow, complete with swings, badminton, and football — such a fantastic play area.What really made our stay special were the hosts, Lerryn and Mark. They were wonderful and provided excellent recommendations on local places to visit. Tomar and Coimbra, both rich in history and charm, were unforgettable day trips.Casa Lerryn is the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and hospitality — highly recommended!"
