Fantastic. The train ride is fun, even for adults. It has a fountain with turtles in it. Cool to see. There's also a gelateria and a bird sanctuary in the park. The park is VERY large and extremely well kept. It seemed very safe as well. Tons of benches and lots of people taking leisurely strolls. Very worthwhile visiting.
We highly recommend this! It's a nice walk in nature, providing a wonderful perspective -- looking at Matera from the other side of the gorge.
