We really enjoyed our stay at this quite grand colonial style villa. Our room (the master bedroom) was large and airy, nicely furnished with a huge bathroom. The bed was comfy and the walk in wardrobe made keeping things tidy a breeze. We were well looked after by the hosts and their on site assistant, Alam. He was always around to get drinks or beach towels, umbrella's etc and keep the villa clean and tidy. The villa is up a steep access road (which is not uncommon on the island due to the local topography)and about a mile out of Beau Vallon which means a car is pretty much essential to get to the fabulous beaches and local eateries. However, the access road & parking could be considered to be somewhat challenging unless you are a confident driver. We enjoyed the breakfasts which consisted of a platter of varied fresh fruit, eggs of your choice and pancakes obviously prepared with care. Alternative options were offered as well. The hosts also offered a 3 course evening meal option Unfortunately this was not available every for night of our stay. The food was excellent and, although we initially thought it seemed expensive, it turned out to be be good value in comparison with the better local restaurants. We found the Villa a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It's not perfect by any means, but you'd have to be pretty picky to find much to complain about and it was a more personal & comfortable experience than the standard hotel offerings.

Property was amazing with super friendly staff who looked after the family extremely well. Our daughter had her 4th birthday whilst staying and the staff made her a cake and even went out of their way to get her a present and card. Super friendly staff who went above and beyond in everything they did.

Perched above the Indian Ocean, with sweeping views of endless blue and tropical green, this wasn’t just a room… it was a sanctuary. And then… the infinity pool. Yes, that pool — the kind that makes your soul exhale. Floating at the edge of the world, watching the sun melt into the sea, surrounded by absolute serenity — it was pure magic. I’ve stayed in luxury hotels around the world, but few have delivered a moment of peace quite like this. The staff? Warm, gracious, and genuine. From check-in to the last goodbye, every interaction felt heartfelt — like they were as excited about our stay as we were. Whether you’re coming to celebrate something special or just need a place to truly disconnect and reconnect with nature, Hilton Northolme delivers beauty, comfort, and that rare kind of luxury that still feels personal. 10/10 — worth every second.
