Almonaster La Real Mosque

Honestly it wasn't what I expected based on the pictures and the discription on Expedia. It is advertised as a luxery 4 star hotel and I did not see that. The room was small, the bathtub as well (and slowly drained), one of the elevators smelled terribly all the time, like sewage, and the spa is not included (instead a different company who charges 45 euro p.p. which is crazy for Dutch standards where this would be the same amount for an entire day) and wasn't clear on the discription at Expedia at all. It is a beautifull place, the pool is nice, the staff is mostly friendly and our room was nice and quiet. Go here if you like to stay in a historic site, go to one of the many other 4 star hotels right in the city center as well if you'd prefer 4 star luxury.

The staff was very lovely. However my room was excessively tiny with hair balls behind my bed table. It didn’t worth the price.
