"Room was semi-clean so that was a plus. The photos are not indicative of the actual spaces of the appt which is very intentional as the kitchen and bathroom are quite filthy and under constructions. We had a major concern about cigarette smell upon arrival host company was quickly responsive and just told us to open a window however we had the windows open for 2 hours with no luck so they "sent someone". "The hotel is like staying in a palace. It is utterly charming with big chandeliers everywhere! The reception area is large & open with plenty of easy chairs to sit & steps up to the bar & lounge. Staff on reception & bar are extremely welcoming & helpful & speak English. Our room was large & airy with big windows & double doors out to a small balcony with table & chairs overlooking the garden. The bed was supersize & very comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space, hospitality tray & fridge, desk & 2 armchairs & coffee table. The bathroom was massive with bath/shower & sink/vanity unit. The toilet was in a separate room off the bathroom & also had it's own sink. The room had air conditioning which was great as it was 36 degrees outside! Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean. What can I say about breakfast? There was absolutely everything you could possibly want & to suit all tastes. There was a warm good morning greeting for guests by all the staff. Food was delicious, freshly prepared & staff made sure everything was replenished when needed. The breakfast room is massive, with a lovely outside garden area too so no problem getting seated. The hotel is across the road from the beautiful Schonbrunn Palace & gardens & the U4 is 5 mins walk away. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel, it made our stay in Vienna extra special & we would be delighted to stay here again."
