The hotel is new, and very busy! The front desk always crowded, still they are kind and helpful. The only issue with my stay was view blocked windows. It is in a great location, walkable and convenient.

Great place, centrally located, convinience store next door, 10mins walk from Arbat/Panfilov/Ascension/GreenBazar. Hotel staff were helpful, the only place that offered water refills instead of std 2/ day plastic bottles. Mildom uses glass bottles + a large jug in each room that all guests could refill.very practical! Toilet with bidet is almost a luxury in Almaty! Food was awesome &a generoud spread compared to several others. HAPPY KIDS makes it worth the proce which is also reasonable given the entire experience

Leider war unser Aufenthalt im Mildom Residence eine große Enttäuschung. Für uns war es eines der schlechtesten Hotels dieser Kategorie, die wir bisher erlebt haben. Bereits bei unserer Ankunft war das Zimmer nicht bezugsfertig und wir mussten rund 20 Minuten in der Lobby warten, ohne dass uns eine Alternative oder ein anderes Zimmer angeboten wurde. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde unser Zimmer an zwei Tagen überhaupt nicht gereinigt. Frische Handtücher erhielten wir ebenfalls nicht automatisch, sondern erst auf ausdrückliche Nachfrage. Gerade bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie sollten solche Dinge selbstverständlich sein. Unser Zimmer (115) befand sich zudem unmittelbar in einem Bereich, in dem sich offenbar Küche, Wäscherei oder andere Betriebsräume befinden. Entsprechend laut war es regelmäßig auf dem Flur, was die Erholung deutlich beeinträchtigt hat. Auch das Frühstück konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Der Frühstücksraum befindet sich im Keller und war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr laut und insgesamt wenig angenehm. Besonders enttäuschend war allerdings der Umgang mit unseren Beschwerden. Wir haben mehrfach versucht, eine vernünftige und angemessene Lösung zu finden. Weder das Hotelmanagement noch Expedia konnten uns während des Aufenthalts entsprechend weiterhelfen. Nach unserer Abreise teilte uns Expedia sogar mit, dass auch deren mehrfache Versuche, das Hotel zu kontaktieren, ohne Antwort geblieben seien. Das sagt aus unserer Sicht leider einiges über den Umgang!
