A wonderful experience
Fantastic hotel. Excellent location, close to the harbour and everything else in Allinge. Extremely kind and helpful staff. At all times service with a smile. Cleanliness was top notch, in the rooms as well as in the rest of the hotel. Very fine breakfast. Unfortunately did not try the restaurant, which seems a pity as the menu looked very good. Did, however, try a number of the outstanding beers from the local Svaneke brewery which are served on tap in the bar and may be enjoyed in the cosy courtyard of the hotel. Highly recommended and definately an hotel I would come back to if visiting this pearl of an island in the middle of the Baltic.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was very clean and all the staff was excellent and friendly. Only missing item was a hair dryer in te room. We were told they were planning on adding this for next year.

Great location and stylish decor. Blinds in room need to be better at blocking out long summer hours of daylight especially for jet lagged travellers.

A true five-star Experience
Grønbechs Hotel in Allinge, a political hotel, gathers the most fascinating guests in a unique property close to the harbour. The rooms are small but equipped effectively, the inside and outside areas are designed with taste and cater for every occasion. The staff is well informed, engages easily in talks and looks after every guest like it is their only one. The food is five-star and the wine menu refreshingly diverse. As it rained, guests got free rain ponchos at reception and throughout the day one is treated to fee coffee and cake. The only downside is the scarce parking situation, but usually one finds parking within a few minutes walk.Top-notch Wifi and a common room Smart TV round up this grand experience.

We were stuck on the top floor, walk-up only, on the sunny side during a heat wave. It was very difficult to sleep. The food was good and the location was great. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly

Ok
Vores værelse var ikke klar, selvom jeg havde modtaget en sms, at vi nu kunne tjekke ind. Vi fik et andet værelse. Her var lidt dårlig lugt, som vi ikke kunne lufte ud. Kloakken slog ‘bøvser. Vi fik også et værelse i gadeplan, hvor man kunne kigge direkte ind af de åbne vinduer. Der var meget larm fra gaden. Restauranten kunne man godt arbejde lidt med belysningen. Ikke så meget hygge, mere sådan kantine-præget. Og meget hvis belysning som lysstofrør. Maden var dog god. Små portioner. Men fint.
