"We loved our stay at Dewberry Hill Cottage! Emily has thought of every detail! The house was spotless, clean and decorated so cute. The AC worked great and we were nice and cool. We loved sitting on the porch sipping our coffee in such a peaceful, serene setting. We even saw some deer and rabbits! Emily was quick to respond when we had questions and even suggested some great restaurants. We spent 2 days exploring the cute little towns of Bellville, Brenham and Round Top. They were adorable...

"I never received answers to my emails before arrival. I never received arrival instructions on the address or how to get in, The directions to the house take you to the neighbors house. When we called trying to find the right address, they never got back in touch with us. There are no window coverings on any of the windows, the water is sulfur and so it smells terrible between sulfur and rust, and there are mice. "

"I put in a complaint on 4/14/25 with Elario. The same day I got a closed email with no explanation. I am not happy, we were in the house for about 20 minutes and left. We ended up renting a motel room in town. I am also not happy that the property had a 9.4 rate, that is not true!"

The owner was very nice and extremely attentive.But the pool area had multiple black widows like it hadn’t been clean in a good while.The chairs recovered in spiderwebs. We couldn’t even sit down on them.when someone was sent over to clean them off, she barely swept them and told me that I had spray under the sink and I could use it if I needed to. "Nice to have a host who understands and welcomes pets. This is very important to me and I am sure to other travelers. The property is beautiful and it was nice to have a grassy yard to go barefoot and great for a dog. Most country properties I have stayed in don't have a manicured lawn that is fenced in for furry friends. Loved the "moo moos"...lots of baby cows this time of year. "

"We stayed in this quaint farmhouse mainly because it was pet friendly and close to Round Top where we we’re meeting family for lunch. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the country lifestyle and peace and quiet. The outside cats were very friendly (our kids and small dog got along fine with them). Our host Natalie was very nice and communicative. Check-in and check-out was super easy."
