Amazing

Very beautiful location secluded enough for privacy while still close enough to places we wanted to go. It wasn’t very big but still felt spacious we had plenty of room that we were not on top of each other. Even when the heater went out the own was on top of it had someone out right away and had space heaters to keep us comfortable ibetwbetween. Very beautiful location.

Refreshing Getaway

It is extremely peaceful. 90% of the time spent outdoors is filled with only natural sounds. There is a herd of six sicka deer (also known as Japanese deer) in the area. They are migrating up the Applachian mountain chain from Maryland.from from

Awesome!

I LOVE this place! Life has been so hectic these days and the cabin was just what I needed. Peaceful, beautiful scenery, relaxing. Best sleep I’ve had in ages. The host and her dad were wonderful. I loved it so much I extended my stay a day. Lots of nature sounds to listen to. I never even turned the tv on. Would definitely stay here again.

Remote Cabin

We stayed here while fishing a tournemant on the Susquehana. Great quite area close enough to amenities for anything we needed. This cabin was just as described and pictured. We met the owner while there and he was charming and a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding g area

Awesome weekend getaway

We visited my son, a Lycoming student, for his birthday and had a great, relaxing time. We took a ride to a really cool record store, sat around a campfire and enjoyed family time. The dogs loved running around in the yard and taking walks. Looking forward to visiting again. The cabin was amazing, comfortable and cozy.

Restful weekend

A beautifully quiet cabin with a gorgeous view from the back porch. Owners were easy to work with and very accommodating. Make no mistake, this is a cabin with a focus on outdoor weekend activities, and it has all that you need. Limited indoor space, but there is Wi-Fi, television and a washer/dryer. It was clean and perfect for what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

Unique experince

We LOVED IT! It is very rural but we had a blast and loved it. It is a very well appointed cabin. It could use a few over the door hooks to use hang things. We would recommend this place for a fun time.

Great escape from reality

Had a nice relaxing time at the cabin for NYE weekend. I thought the teenagers were gonna be bored, but they were fine, especially since there was wifi and a second floor to get away from the adults. Would definitely come again!

Relaxing cabin down on the farm

We loved our stay. The dogs ran in the field and we sat around the fire pit. The cabin while built in 1902 is updated and modern but still has an historic feel. I used the loft as the baby slept with mom down stairs. The main room with the full bed is large and a great place to relax. There is Wi-Fi but no tv so bring a computer or iPad if you want to watch something. We did not watch much tv as we enjoyed the nature around us. We have both Verizon and AT&T cell phones and had full signal. We did have to kill a few spiders but you are in the country so that is expected. The only thing we would have liked is if the main floor bed was a king but we knew it was a full when booking so that’s on us. But a king bed would make this cabin perfect. There are multiple towns close by which are about 20 min drive and have everything you need. All in all a great stay and we would go back in the future.

Cozy, peaceful getaway!

This property was exactly as described. We chose this location for a weekend getaway with the kids and we absolutely loved it. The loft was so perfect for them to spend time together, giggling and having fun before bed. We spent time playing games as a family that they had available. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Peaceful cabin in the woods

Beautiful cabin and wonderful area. Only issue is if you're staying when it's very cold (less then 20 degrees), bring an extra space heater. The one provided was not enough and we were quite cold. However, plenty of blankets so we did fine.

We had a wonderful time

I had a few friends over to celebrate my 40th birthday. We had a great time. The roads were a bit icy and snow covered. The drifts were pretty bad. Two cars got stuck in a ditch along side of the road due to drifting. Luckily my Uncle doesn't live far away and was able to help pull the cars out. So just be careful. I'd definitely rent this cabin again.
