Check in / check out / door locks / luggage storage can all be done without involving a human - which I didn't mind.Hotel was clean and very well situated. Rooms were a bit "thumpy." I kept hearing what sounded like furniture being moved around or sacks of potatoes being tossed around. Never figured out what the commotion was, but it was consistent. "If you are on a pilgrimage to experience the life of St. Brigid, this is a wonderful place for the journey. It is directly next door to the Cathedral. The Firecastle Market next door is, I presume, owned by the same people. They were so gracious and helpful. Let me store my bags in their tiny office so I could continue to explore. Truly wonderful hospitality all the way around no matter what your reason for visiting Kildare."

Breakfast was v good with lots of fruit and usual chill English all buffet.
Highly recommend this hotel...only issue is leisure club is bit walk away.
The place is clean throughout n even during our stay the cleaned the fountain."
