Memorial Weekend
We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed. Suggestion - put a lock on the screen door off the covered deck, would have loved to had both doors opened for a breeze. When we decided to be back in that neck of the woods again, we will be calling to see if the cabin is available. Thank you

Excellent place for a family gathering with barbecue and fire pit!
Gathered here for a nearby Saint Bonaventure graduation event! One night had the whole family over for a barbecue and fire pit get together. It was perfect.

Best Firepit on VRBP
Pumpkin Hollow was a great place for us. The firepit was amazing. The creek was pretty. We enjoyed looking at the beer can collection. The kitchen equipment was ok, nothing special. The shower was hot. The beds were comfortable. The place is quirky though. If you're looking for something fancy, this is not it. We loved it though. Michael was great and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions about the jukebox. He's really a great guy. We'll be back.

What a beautiful setting!
We enjoyed our stay at Pumpkin Hollow Inn. The property is stunning! The kids loved playing on the swings and around the creek (even in the snow!!) We got around 4 inches of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed for us while we were out skiing! Everything we needed was there and readily available. All the comforts of home for a weekend away!

Cozy Cabin
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at the cabin! It is well kept, very clean and organized! It rained most of the weekend, but we were warm and comfortable the whole time, as there is a great propane wall unit and a super woodstove! I started a nice campfire the first evening before it rained. Then had a fire going in the woodstove almost the whole time. I loved the LED lights throughout! Very cool! It was super warm and cozy! We watched several movies as there is huge selection of DVDs and a great variety of TV channels! We also shot cans across the creek with the 2 air rifles provided, and played some darts as well. Mike and Francis communicated everything perfectly! We look forward to renting again soon!!!

Pumpkin Hollow fall getaway
It’s our second stay at the cottage and we love it here ! Was beautiful to see the leaves changing color ! First night made a big fire and enjoyed the light show ! We ended up having a rainy day and found lots to do inside playing games and watching movies also listening to the juke box ! Our dog Bella loves it being at the cabin too!! Just book it!
Perfect weekend getaway! So relaxing. The stream was amazing; we played in it as a family all weekend. My 9 year old daughter loved the rope swing! Having a fire by the creek at night was magical! The cabin had everything we needed; very well thought out. Mike and Francis were the perfect hosts! If you're looking for a relaxing vacation where you can just spend time together as a family, you're not going to find a better place!

Beautiful! This property has something for everyone... the creek, the jukebox, tunes outside, a light show. WoW! Nobody wanted to leave, especially the dogs, it was heaven on earth for them! thank u!!

Awesome place
This is the best camp 4 wheeler place I’ve ever been to the cabin is sweet the trails go on for ever we had just the best time we even got to sit on the back porch thru a wicked thunderstorm we all can’t wait to rent it out again Believe me if you want a quiet place all set up and ride wheelers this is that place no disappointments Thanks Mike !!!

Rustic but great for dogs!
Took our two German Shepherds for a vacation. They loved the creek. Mike was an excellent communicator and made sure things were fine. We had a motorcycle trailer that was extremely hard to navigate, so be aware.

Thank you for the review Jill I'm sorry you had trouble navigating your trailer when I come down with my trailer with my four wheelers I just park in front of the pines in the front yard I don't even try to go down the driveway because it is quite hard to navigate a trailer down that driveway

Creekside beauty
We loved this little cabin by the creek. It was the perfect little get away at the end of the school year for our teenage son, and his friend. We loved that this cabin welcomes pets and our pup Oakley enjoyed the creek immensely. This unique cabin was just we expected. We loved the campfire area and enjoyed making smores. Everything you could need for cooking on site was there. The light show was also pretty cool! Thank you for a great trip! We hope to come back soon.

Very peaceful property, great to unwind.

Awesome cabin!
Beautiful cabin in a great location. The fire pit next to the creek makes for some great fires. The cabin is very clean and has good amenities. Host is very timely with responses and making sure our stay was great. Was our second guys trip and I'm sure we'll be back for a third!

Great little getaway
Had a wonderful time! Cabin was adorable and clean. Had pretty much everything we needed there ready to go. I can't think of anything that wasn't provided down to a lighter and utensils, etc. Loved the stream, fireplace and jukebox. Very quite on a dead-end road. Pups had a great time! Fantastic Family Refuge
From Chicago Illinois and Keene New Hampshire we descended on Mike and Francis’s quaint little cottage. We knew it was special after pulling into the property and saw the ‘Bad Boy Island’ sign and heard the stream running just off the deck. It had all the basics, but goes beyond to provide a wonderful experience for the whole family. We had fun discovering all the little details that are unimaginable in your standard hotel experience. What a wonderful property nestled in the woods on a quiet Dead End street. The stream ran through the property, beautiful fire pit, with a ton to do. This cabin was just perfect and had all the amenities needed for our family. Although we came in the colder part of NY’s season we would love to return in the spring/summer to enjoy the full outdoor benefits.

Second wonderful stay
I cannot say enough positive things about the property or the owner. You get exactly what you see in the pics and then some. The property is serene, tranquil and overall impressive. My dog loves to chase leaves in the stream and we love the sound of the water running through. Just close enough to conveniences, restaurants and pet friendly activities yet far enough for true relaxation. The layout of the cabin definitely makes it feel roomy. The open layout of kitchen and living room is perfect. I know we will be back!!! Thanks for have such a wonderful place.

Beautiful time of year to stay. The creek was so relaxing to sit by and also explore around “bad boy island” . My little guy loves walking across the creek and the new swings are perfect addition for both my 15 and 5 year old to enjoy.

Wonderful cabin!
We had a great time at the cabin! Mike had great communication with us for checking in and ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We were within and 1hr/1.5hr of exciting things to see and do in New York and Pennsylvania! The creek and fire pit were awesome then to come into the cabin was so cozy at night with the wood fire stove keeping us warm. We had a great time, thank you Mike!!!

Great getaway!
Great couple of days away from everything! It was so relaxing to be able to sit by the fire at night with the light show going. Kids enjoyed exploring the creek, and our corn hole games got pretty intense ! Can't wait to come back! Hopefully our little fire pit snake will be there. Phillipe' provided much entertainment.

Amazing location, perfect accommodations!
Wow. what a wonderful escape for a few days! We loved everything this camp has to offer. My husband and I brought our young adult kids aged 18-21 and there was plenty to keep everyone happy. Just being together, playing yard games, playing cards, listening to music, exploring the creek, sitting on the porch, watching the amazing light show. Even the rain was welcomed! Lily and I loved the trail . We wandered for hours in the morning . The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We went to willow bay and she swam and chased sticks then we sat by the stream in the evening. . The setting was beautiful! Mike and Francis were very available for anything we needed. Escape to nature!!
Mike and his wife host an absolutely amazing escape to nature combined with a beautiful unique experience in their cabin! Mike was ALWAYS available for questions and made check in and out simple! The cabin is super clean and we felt very welcome! They have thought of all the little things both inside and out that were wonderful! Our dog learned how to walk in the creek! Beautiful experience and would love to visit again! Thank you to our hosts! Can't begin to say how much we appreciated this! For those who are considering this option, there is a light show that shines in the woods and around the grounds that is pure awesomeness! Couldn't believe how creative and enjoyable! Shows how much they love their cabin and want to share it with others! Book it folks! You will be glad you did! Just an hour away from Buffalo, you're going to feel like you traveled up into the mountains far away! One tank of gas to really enjoy yourself and your fur family is most welcome too!

Nice location but cabin itself wasn't our cup of tea
We loved nature, the creek was our favorite. Sitting next to it, reading and enjoying surround quietness was the best. We visited Letchworth and Watkins Glen State Parks. They are amazing! And the night sky was gorgeous! But I would not advise nonsmokers to stay in Mike's place. Despite Mike's warning not to smoke inside, there was a strong cigarette odor, especially in the master bedroom. We used all the fans, opened doors and windows to get some relief from that smell. But after the rain the smell got strong again. The cleanness of the kitchen was questionable. And we would prefer some place where we could keep/hang our clothes. The only chest in the master bedroom was full with clean bedding. For us it was an interesting experience but I don't think we will return.

Thankyou Anna for the honest review . I did smell smoke myself when I went down to clean . When I go down this week I will have all curtains removed and washed. There really no place for me to add a closet in the cabin to hang clothes , I will have the clean bedding removed from the dresser Once agian thankyou for the honest review . MY number one goal is to make people love my place and want to return
