We loved the location of the Happy House; it’s tucked away close to the center of the old town. Olga was very helpful by calling a taxi for us , to leave at 4;30. In the morning. It’s an ideal place for the active tourist. It’s small But has it all.

My wife and I especially liked the use of a common kitchen and a sunny, beautiful terrace with palms and flowers. The room had everything we needed except, perhaps, a hair dryer.

This was a nice guest house not too far from the centre of Faro. Nicely decorated with a kitchen but no breakfast options. The lady who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful

I dont know why this does not jave a hogher rating. It is beautifully finished inside. 2 or 3 decks. Quiet. AC. Nice kitchen set up. An unexpected nice surprise

Excellent location, very nice restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Bedrooms were very clean and felt luxurious. The whole building smelled nice, reminded me of a spa. We're lucky to able to park in front of the building (€1/hour 9am - 19 pm)

Just Average Quality, But Good Location
Good location close to everything in Faro. But the room had some issues. The shower doors didn't close all the way so water gets all over the floor unless you are super careful. The sink is very shallow and the faucet is so short that my small hands didn't fit between the faucet and the back of the sink. Broken window shade that I had to roll up by hand. Staff was nice but didn't provide info about restaurants, just told me to walk down the street and I'll find lots of them. Got much better info from Tourist Info place who told me about the big municipal market and supermarket just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Quiet night
Had a very quiet night and the bed was extremely comfortable. Couldn't work out how to use the beside reading light but everything else was pleasing. Second time I have stayed and will definitely stay again if I'm in Faro again

Muy buen hostal. Super limpio, muy bien ubicado muy cerca del centro, la marina y a unas calles de las estaciones de autobús y de tren. La habitación de una persona es muy moderna y de buen tamaño. Lo único es que me tocó en una habitación junto a la cocina y se escuchaba todo, sobre todo en la mañana que la gente se preparaba de desayunar desde las 7 AM y hablaban en voz alta, a pesar de que un letrero decía que no hicieran ruido antes de las 10. No pude descansar mucho por eso, ademas de que era bastante incómodo. De ahi en fuera todo bien, el personal muy amable

A good choice in Faro
A nice guesthouse near Faro centre (you can walk easily to the old city and to the restaurants). Kind staff and a small terrace on top where one can relax briefly.

The shower was a mess. The hose that extended to the shower head was on top of the facet to turn on the shower. It was so close that when you pulled up to turn on the facet the hose would push it back on, so you could hardly turn on the shower. They had no food available except for cookies for breakfast. When we checked in we were told there was a 3 euro “tourist tax” then she asked if we could pay for it separately in tax. This seemed like a scam to me. I think she just wanted a tip for walking us to our room. It was clean, but nothing special. Location was nice but parking was terrible. Would stay somewhere else if we ever come back.

Great location, comfort and staff
The hotel was at a prefect location, at the center of Faro, a couple of minutes walking from restaurants, churches and the marine. The employees were all very helpful, happy to answer every question and gave us good tips for our trip. The hotel was clean, had all the basics needed and has free water.

Reasonable price and quaint accommodations for simplistic traveling. Clean and updated design. A/C, TV, blackout curtains, full closet, rain shower and hand held nozzle, 202 twin bedroom is next to the kitchen/dining table so not as quiet IF people were to use it. Window near patio was open where people were smoking so the hallway took some of the smell but it didn’t linger. I can hear a person snoring and airplane flying so the sound barrier is normal for a house. I slept very well in a standard firm bed. Secure keycard access for two entryways, stairs and elevator, and lights in hallway are motion sensor . I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Nice stay at a clean and well located quaint hotel
The staff reached out via text to see when I would be arriving so they could have someone there at check-in. All the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. They gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do including a Saint Ira Festival. A few days after staying there I returned and asked if I could leave my bags for a bit while I ran errands and it was raining. The young lady happily obliged which was so appreciated and above and beyond service wise. My first room 204 was pretty bare bones but comfortable. I added an additional night later in the week but had to switch due to availability. The new room 105 was more expensive but totally worth it, much nicer, more spacious with nicer toiletries and decor. The have a shared kitchen for you to use with plenty of appliances. There is an adorable patio to enjoy a glass of wine or to bbq on the little girl. My only issue was the house keeper, she seemed nice enough but with the upstairs room placement it seems her supply closet/room must have been near by because she kept opening the door constantly and letting it slam loudly. She came and knocked even though I had the do not disturb sign up. Once I moved downstairs that room was more private with only 1 close neighboring door, I thought this would take care of the noise issue. There was less door slamming but she was excessively loud, she was yelling excitedly on what I later found out was a speaker call. I knocked to ask if she was ok.

La instalación se ve bastante nueva y la ubicación es muy centrica. Las paredes de las habitacions son super finas, se escucha todo sobre todo los pasos al ser el suelo laminado. Tambien las puertas al cerrar son muy ruidosas. Durante 2 noches casi no hemos podido dormir ya que hay huéspedes que entran y salen a todas horas. Tampoco hay persianas con lo cual entra mucha luz en la habitación.

Perfect name for property.
Excellent standard as usual. Very clean. Kitchen facilities with hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. Also glassware and crockery. A beautiful second floor terrace for relaxing in all day sun (June). Be careful!! A wonderful stay. Staff are very friendly and efficient. There has been a lift installed since my previous visits. I thoroughly recommend.
