「This was our favorite hotel on our trip! Clean, wonderful and accommodating staff, friendly hosts. Pool was clean but hot tub was out of commission. Conveniently located near the lake, a store across the street. Small town but superb hotel. They had two weddings and were full to the brim but worked hard to keep us in our same room the entire time. Will definitely stay again.」

「What a lovely Super 8! They are remodeling inside and out. Our room had laminate floors, new bedding and looked fresh and clean. The outside is being redone with Smart side siding and rock. Breakfast was sufficient. Coffee was good. Only complaint was that the pillows were too thick...maybe use a variety of thick and thin! Staff was super courteous and helpful. I will definitely visit again when coming this way!」

「This home is charming and offers everything one might need. It was somewhat elusive to locate in the dark, so I would suggest leaving a light on for guests would make it easier; there's plenty of space for parking. There are stairs leading to the second floor where 3 of the bedrooms are located. Overall, the home is spacious and comfortable. Mary, the landlord lives on the 3rd floor but you wouldn't know it; the only contact we had with her was once as she was leaving; she shares the primary...

「Two besties met halfway for a girls weekend. Close to Alexandria and all it has to offer. The Boathouse was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed an evening on the deck with the beautiful fall colors on the lake. Host was available by phone and let me know that by a phone call before I checked in. Everything was easy and I would not hesitate to book again. In fact my friend even said we need to do this again. 」

「The check in was very easy and the kitchen had everything plus more. The place was very clean and comfortable! We had two little girls with us and they loved having toys and books to keep them occupied. Our adult sons and grandson played risk. A few more bath towels would have been nice. Would highly recommend for a larger group.」

「We came up with my extended family (14 of us) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. The home was STUNNING and there was plenty of room to sleep, eat (indoor dining table and outdoor patio tables seat 16), and hang out. There are coffee makers everywhere too, which my family loved. We quite enjoyed taking out the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards (plenty of life jackets too). The water is shallow for quite a ways out which made swimming easy … and our hosts also graciously provided...
