"I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel La Battigia. The hotel is extremely clean, and you can tell the team takes great pride in maintaining the property. The staff are fantastic – friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the food, which was excellent. The restaurant offers amazing dishes and a great dining experience. The only downside is the acoustics in the rooms. You can hear people walking in the corridors quite clearly, the air conditioning unit can be quite loud, and at times you can also hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. If the sound insulation were improved, the stay would be perfect. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with wonderful staff and great food, and I would still recommend it."

"Very nice stay , the hosts couldn’t be more helpful. A lovely clean room, spacious bathroom. The hosts offered me transport to and from the airport if I needed it. They arranged for breakfast to be left out too even at 4am , something not many places would do. I arrived by train which is about 10 mins walk away. Good variety of food available too for breakfast. "

"We booked this hotel only because our flight arrived late so the car rental was closed and we couldn’t get to our final destination until the morning. I’m so glad that we did! The room was great, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was excellent. We’ve already booked a room here for the last night of our stay."

"The musty smell in this lower room off the back of the house was overwhelmingly bad. Nice owners, beautiful setting if weather is good enough to sit on the patio, but in cold and windy February we were stuck indoors. The musty/dank/moldy smell was pretty overwhelming. We imagine the place had not been aired for quite a while. We feel this issue needs to be addressed. We left windows open during the day so that eventually the awful smell was somewhat abated."

"I had a wonderful stay at Casa Manzella! Room was clean and spacious. The staff was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the area as well as things to do around town. They were so very accommodating, which I appreciate so much. I was delighted to see an expresso machine and continental breakfast each morning. I loved having a balcony for those mornings I just wanted to sip my coffee and enjoy the crisp cool weather. I will definitely recommend this B&B. "The location is beautiful. The room horrible, beds uncomfortable, mattresses worn out, king bed was separating into two as soon as you lay down. Breakfast food choices were limited. Place is too big for the company to manage."
