My friend and I have just got home from 6 nights at Alfagar Cerro Malpique, and we couldn’t be more happy with everything! The staff were lovely - especially Ibrahim, who did everything to make sure our stay was 10/10. He was very accommodating, making sure we were having a great time. The room was super and so spacious, the location was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will 100% be back again. Thank you!!!

The first room we stayed in was in building two and it looked old and run down. There was a stove top but no oven. Also, There was no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. We were not pleased at all. We were moved to building one and the room was perfect! It was clean and modern. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and it was close to the pool. Once we moved we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Välutrustat kök och trevlig, stor balkong. Sängarna var dock väldigt hårda. Ok läge med promenadavstånd till centrum och strand. Aldi ligger nära.

split propert,y, apartments out the back and down the street from the main section. Very steep, exit little bank from reception out of rear of property with steps, difficult to navigate with cases. Apartment only ok, had all amenities but only double bed comfortable, singles not and pull out sofa bed not great, inside edge of pull out look as if not used much and fluffy. Good location for old town square.

Room was great, we got a free upgrade from a studio to a 1 bed and the room was very spacious with a modern and well equipped kitchen & bathroom. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool is small but it was perfect for us as we only wanted a quick dip every now and again to cool down. It’s about a 5 min walk downhill & steps to reach old town square. It is quite a trek back up but ubers & taxis are cheap (4-5 euro). I’d say in busy periods the pool area could get crowded and it may be hard to get a lounger but we were fortunate that it was quiet enough during our stay. I couldn’t fault it for what it is. If you have kids & want to have activities/entertainment or a full dining & drinks service then you won’t get that here. Theres a small counter which sells ice creams, toasties & a limited drinks menu (beer & alchopops). As a couple who just wanted to spend a few hours each day at the pool and have an occasional beer or ice cream it was perfect.

Everything was fine and the staff were helpful. If it is a problem walking up a steepish incline, a taxi from old town is only 3 - 4 euros

The highlight of the hotel was the staff members. Upon check-in, we had some concern with our room and Isabel went out of her way to help us find another unit that would better meet our needs. So far as to ride over to the 2nd building which a was a few minutes away with us to be sure we were satisfied and found it all right. We had another small issue and the man at reception was quick to accommodate our needs. The room was generally clean. However, the shower area needs some attention in the room we were in. There is actively growing mold on the shower walls, not just old mold stains. Also, small ants were present in the bath and kitchen areas. I understand that we were renting a unit in an aparthotel to which you usually bring items from the msrket to cook, eat or drink. However, I feel like to have AT LEAST coffee for the first morning would (even if only instant) would be much appreciated, especially for people who get in later in the evening. The pool and small children's pool were nice to have, but quite chilly. Lovely views from the upper floors. Overall, it was a very good stay. I would hope housekeeping/maintenance could address the necessary issues and it would be excellent" in my opinion.
