We had a great get away. Home is exactly as described and even better than the pictures. We loved the outdoor areas, making pizzas and sitting by the fire pit. Enjoyed cruising around the lake on the pontoon even though the weather was cooler than normal. Host was quick with communication and easy to work with. We highly recommend and will be back next year for our annual friends weekend.

This house had the best water views, from the lower dock, upper deck above the water, patio and upper deck. And all 3 tvs outside were perfect for viewing the NFL draft. We grilled chicken and cooked pizza outside. The inside was very comfortable. Many fancy upgrades. Nice neighbors. so pleasant. now on our annual rotation.

We are so thrilled with this past week that we had at this amazing property! I’m not sure where to begin!The house is awesome- very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds and bedding, well stocked kitchen, great appliances and lots of tv’s! We brought our own games, but there are many options in the laundry area too! The outdoor entertaining is off the chain! The outdoor kitchen is amazing and there is a lot of seating! The firepit on the main patio was where a lot of our memories were made! My kids (young adults) loved the dock as well as the crows nest area with amazing views. Did I mention that EVERY toilet has a heated toilet seat!? My goodness now I don’t know how I will live without this in my life! The newly renovated bathrooms were gorgeous and the showers were amazing!The pontoon was immaculate and ran like a champ. This lake is so beautiful and we enjoyed our trips admiring the homes and scenery! The stereo system on the boat was great too…The best part- the host, SEBASTIAN! I’ve rented many VRBO’s and he is by far the most attentive and interactive host we have ever had. He responded immediately each time we called or had a question. SUPER nice man who clearly loves this home and wants a great experience for all his guests. THANK YOU!This is a wonderful home for ALL ages and it’s in a great location. We had a fantastic time this weekend. Property was clean, great view and perfect outdoor area. It was a laid back weekend with a little fun in the sun.Highlights for us were the outdoor kitchen and dock area. Nice kitchen, everything was clean, and we will be back!

Incredible home! Amazing views and absolutely awesome amenities! Very comfortable beds and the place was spotless and the attention to detail was exceptional! This was our 1st time and my family loved this house! The multiple decks were amazing, having a wood fired pizza oven, a flat top griddle and a gas grill as well as 2 fire pits made it hard to leave on check out day! I look forward to visiting the area again!

We met with family for a long Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time at the house. It's exactly as described by the owner and it's exactly like the pictures. The communication and check-in process were every easy, the instructions for all the amenities were clearly written and understandable, the beds were all very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need, including some spices in case you forgot yours. The weather was a bit cold to spend much time using the outdoor amenities (there are many), but we did do a little fishing off the dock. There are lots of stores and restaurants only about 10-15 minutes away. We had dinner at Five Points Public House in downtown Albemarle and it was great. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor if you're looking for a lake house to rent. Not only is a wonderful setup with everything you could want, but from May to November the rental fee includes use of a very nice pontoon boat.

We had a wonderful time. The property was perfect and had all of the amenities we needed and more. The ability to use the pontoon boat made our stay extra special. The host was pleasant and helpful and made the check in process seamless. A beautiful place with many opportunities to unwind and relax in a peaceful setting.

We had such a great time! This was one of our best rental experiences - the house was great, the outdoor space is awesome, and the boat was a fun bonus. We visited in October so it was a little chilly in the mornings but it warmed up quickly and we enjoyed fishing, swimming, and cruising on the boat during the day. Smores and football by the fire in the evenings were great too. Sebastian was a great and communicative host. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

The house is very warm and welcoming. The screened in porch is perfect for morning coffee. We had brunch on the deck under the pergola. We used both the grill and pizza oven on the stamped patio. Outstanding amenities!! Just be careful of the view of the lake. You may want to stay.

My family throughly enjoyed our time at Sebastian’s property. The home has fantastic views and plenty of room to spread out outdoors. The use of the boat certainly made the trip! We were fortunate enough to have mostly sunny weather to enjoy getting out on and into the water. Any questions we did have were quickly addressed by Sebastian, which we really appreciated. Our family of five, plus our dog, has a wonderful vacation at Lake Tillery! The home was spacious and clean. The outdoor patio and decks were so relaxing. And the use of the boat provided hours of fun. Without doubt, we will be back.

Perfect house for family of 7 and our dog :) We enjoyed the house and the lake but most of all we loved the access to the boat. Outdoor deck was nice, we look forward to coming back in the fall to enjoy more fishing and evenings by the fire.

This was an annual family vacation with my husband’s mother, our grown children, and grandchildren. The location is prime, the house was immaculate, the amenities were awesome, especially the outdoor kitchen and all the space, seating, decks, fire pits, etc. The outside list is endless. Our big perk was the use of the boat on a daily basis, and we certainly got our use of the screened in porch. Highly recommended, and our entire clan loved it!

We stayed 4 nights at this lake property and had a great time. The house was perfect for all activities, whether relaxing on one of the multiple decks to watch the sun go down, sitting around the fire pit after dinner, lounging on the floats off the deck or cruising on the boat around the lake. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend but the water temperature was close to 80 degrees so very comfortable. The house has every amenity you can think of from sonos speakers both inside and along the deck, a full high end bbq with an outdoor griddle, a pizza oven and outdoor tvs in several areas. There was ample seating to eat outside on the top deck with a canopy or the lower level with raised counters for a larger group around the bbq and fire pit. Also a screened in seating area off the den which was a nice feature for one of the nights when it rained. The pictures are accurate and the house was clean when we arrived. The owner was responsive when we had questions during the stay and he spent a few minutes with us on the phone when we initially arrived to walk us through some of the features and setup. The lake is clean and easy to navigate. It was busy on the Saturday but not as crazy as other lakes we have visited around NC. The house is in a good location near one end of the lake and there is a Dollar General within a mile and they carry a lot of food, ice and beer which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting again in the future. Highly recommend

The property and the view lived up to all expectations from the information provided online. Having use of the pontoon boat was a real plus, and not something a lot of property owners will do. The boathouse, decks and all the outdoor amenities are first class. We loved using the gas firepit and the outdoor griddle and eating space. The house is very nice and has everything you will need. Our daughters joined us for a couple of nights and we all had a great time. We even caught a few fish.

This house was perfect. It had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay on the lake with friends. The house was cozy and nicely updated. Tons of entertaining space and lots of room to fit two families of 4. I can't think of any negative things to say about the house, in fact, we were going to probably make this a yearly vacation with our close friends and kids each Summer. The house didn't have fishing poles, but we went right down to the store and purchased two rods and left them there for future guests to enjoy. The kids caught tons of fish right from the dock and were able to always keep themselves busy if we were not on the boat having fun. The house is in a great location and easy in and out for the boat as well. Nothing else to say about that house other than if you are interested or on the fence, book it. You are going to have a great time!

We had a great time at the lake with all our family and girlfriends and all. Being on the water was so peaceful and having the boat was a definite added plus. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and made wood fired pizzas for the first time. Trip to Albemarle was easy for any supplies we needed. Would stay here again.

This was the second stay at Sebastian's lake house and our family had an incredibly fun time! Sebastian as always was a great host and had the house and boat ready to go for our arrival. Every morning, afternoon, and evening we would all spend either resting on all the available furniture or playing in the water or pulling the kids on the tube! I certainly look forward to more of these staycations as Sebastian's home is wonderful and offers so much to my family of five! Thanks again Sebastian!
