Home away from home
Very comfy B&B. Good spread of breakfast options which is included in the room rate. Friendly hosts. Only issue we had was that our room is rather stuffy as it was a hot day and there wasn’t any fan or air conditioner.

The hosts very nice and provided free wine and port and cake and biscuits. Breakfast was also included. The property is an older property and is converted into it's present use. It does have a certain charm about it.

An extremely beautiful guest house. Nikki was an excellent host, so helpful and lovely. My kids enjoyed her cupcakes during afternoon tea. The room was gorgeous overlooking the massive garden behind the house and bed was very comfortable 👍

Cosy stay on the outskirts of Albany
A beautiful bnb run by a lovely mother/daughter team. Very welcoming and generous with their hospitality. Wish we had booked the King room overlooking the beautiful gardens.

Beautiful historic inn. The room shown on the listing is the one we stayed in, and it was as lovely and spacious as the photo indicates. Our hosts were warm, friendly and helpful to two Yanks who needed guidance around what to see and do in the Albany region. Lovely place, great value, and we would happily stay there again!

Elliot House is a lovely old building so if you want glitz and glamour dont go here. If you want tranquil gardens, charming hostesses and period surroundings then don't miss it. Continental breakfast was served in the dining room where you get to chat to other travellers. It is out of town (10 min drive) but worth it.

Ein schönes Anwesen, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Gemeinschaftsräume ( Esszimmer und Salon) machen den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Man fühlt sich ein wenig wie zu Hause.

Lovely place to stay in Albany
Gorgeous little guest house. The host was extremely helpful and there were beautiful little cupcakes and wine on offer for guests - such a sweet touch.

Our room, the guest lounge, the breakfast area, and the outside grounds were all exceptionally beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and the hostesses were so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting with them and would like to have stayed longer.

We loved our stay. The ambience of the property, surrounding grounds and the room was right up our alley. The owners were awesome. We loved our morning and evening chats and Nikki and Tarryn were always helpful in suggesting what to do during the day. The treats in the common living area made evenings very enjoyable and we spent most nights after a night out playing board games and relaxing. We will definitely be back next time we are in Albany.

Easy access to Albany and surrounds
Host was very informative on the local area and provided lots of helpful tips of where to go/what to see. The breakfast spread was really nice, as was the afternoon tea of cupcakes and coffee/tea/alcohol provided. As it is an older building, the rooms are unfortunately not sound-proof. On the night we stayed, there was another couple who returned late in the evening and then had their tv on and had a late-night chat which we were privy to. Bathroom was not 100% clean - found stray hairs on the bench top, bottom sides of the shower need a good scrub. The mattresses in our room (twin beds) had large dips in them at the end from people sitting on them to watch tv. They also weren't particularly comfortable. Strangely, the mattresses had no mattress protectors on them, just a bottom sheet that basically came off when you pulled the blanket/sheets back.

Loved the garden surrounding the property. The room was light and airy. The King size Bed was very comfortable. The en-suite in the room we had was on the small side and a bit cramped, although adequate. It was nice and quiet which suits us and the people who run "Elliot House" are very friendly and obliging. If you are looking for a quiet and restful break in pleasant surrounds we can recommend this Property
