Charming Country Home near Providence Canyon

Cozy home located in historic Lumpkin, GA.
-Has two bedrooms with queen beds and ceiling fans. Two lounge chairs convert into twin sleepers as well. Sleeps 6
-Kitchen fully stocked with supplies, full washer and dryer, gas grill, big back yard with picnic table and fire pit.

**We are a pet-friendly home, but we do charge a non-refundable pet deposit of $50 per pet! Please be honest and pay for your pets, as it goes towards maintaining a dander and hair free home! Thank you!
** For the security of our property, we do have a camera in the carport monitoring the entrance, and also a motion camera in the back yard monitoring our sheds and wood stash. Any tampering of our cameras will incur an additional fee to fix. *No large groups or parties are allowed at this property.

  • Providence Canyon is nicknamed Georgia's Little Grand Canyon. I think it is aptly named. I had been here about 25 years ago, but really wanted to go back. It is in the middle of nowhere, so I have been waiting for a reason to head down this direction. If you go, I would highly recommend canyon 4&5. The home was immaculate and inviting. Pet friendly which was a big Plus! Very close to Providence Canon which was what we were looking for however surprised by how small the town was. Be sure to plan ahead for supplies and goods - not much in the area for several miles. Pups loved the back yard and M loved the canon. So win win for Us! Fire Pit looks Awesome just couldn’t get to it with the weather. Super Quiet area for sure!! We Would definitely come Back.

This place was amazing! It was 11 minutes from Providence Canyon which made for a great day trip. This was probably the most relaxing house my friends and I have ever stayed in. It was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and living room was cozy for a movie night.

Simply Amazing!

The house was beautiful my son called it his dream house for his 18th birthday. We got to experience the best snowfall in the most charming town. Was perfect for a travel up from Florida. Can’t wait to stay again during the summer!

Lumpkin House

This is our second time to stay. They upgrades to the bedrooms were wonderful. We are on the area for a field trial and the location is perfect. We even hit up the Omaha Brewery as well.

Weekend Getaway

The house was very clean, and easy to find even in the dark. The host was very responsive and gave the check In instructions the morning of. We visited the canyon and it was beautiful and the house is very close. The only thing about Lumpkin, it is a very small town with not many food choices, so choose your food choices (either cooking or eating out) before you come. Overall the vacation was a success and we plan on visiting again, hopefully this house will be available.

So comfortable and well appointed

Our family came to Lumpkin specifically to hike the Canyon. The canyon was truly amazing. If you visit Lumpkin, check out the Richland Rum Distillery too; that was really interesting and just down the road. We are a family of 6 and generally use VRBO when we travel. From the beginning, we received excellent communication from owners. We had no issues upon arrival; everything was as expected. The home was super comfortable, spacious and well appointed. There was plenty of soap and detergent, coffee and fixings, plenty of firewood for the pit, pan spray and paper towels, paper plates salt and pepper, some other spices, toaster, mixing bowls, pans, utensils, extra bedding and blankets, towels, etc. It was very well stocked making our stay very relaxed. The home itself was nicely decorated and well maintained, obviously updated and clean. I 100% recommend. Thank you!!!

Memorial Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time and the home is beautiful. We were very comfortable and the proximity to Providence Canyon could have been any better, about 10 minutes. The home is as described and communication was immediate on the few times we reached out. Very gracious hosts and I would highly recommend it if staying in the area.

Convenient for Providence Canyon

We wanted to hike for a day at providence canyon and we were happy to find such a nice vrbo close by. We loved the TV room and large back yard. We enjoyed the fire pit. There is nothing in the town of Lumpkin but able to go to Columbus the next day for a family fun day.

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Love the outdoorsy themed decor. It was roomy & comfortable, too. Conveniently located near Providence Canyon. I would highly recommend this place.
