"The checkin staff was friendly and efficient. The room was great with a nice view. Pool reservations were a waste of time. Maybe require those during the busy season. If the weather is mild (above 30's) the rooms can get stuffy. Thermostats are set and password locked. You need to call the desk to set your room temp lower than 70, but if it's before 1 May, it doesn't matter because the air conditioning system is not turned on. Use fans and open your wondow."

"Any Hyatt hotel will always be my first choice for my staycations. Hyatt Place has always been good to me. Stayed here a few times & have never had a problem. Check-in is always smooth. Room is just right. Noise level is minimal. Breakfast is always fulfilling, maybe add some flavored creamers (that would be great). All in all, I’ve no complaints. "

"Great breakfast. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Decor was interesting with plenty of Fairbanks history. Unexpected suprise of a pie upon check in! Good experience overall and I would def come again. I wish they had a hot tub."

"If you are going to Alaska and flying out to other areas, this is the place to stay. Although the place is a little old, it is kept in good shape and the staff is more than helpful and very friendly."
