「After having cleaned my own B&B for 17 years, there were some things at Ski Inn that needed slight attention. There was a used tissue in the floor near the door, the waste basket had not been emptied before my arrival, and there was something else resembling a piece of granola on the floor. They could have had a dog in there, and maybe it was dog food. I know how hard it is to turn a room over after only one night. The staff was very helpful at checking me in. That was excellent!」

「This place is a hoot. Each "room" is actually just a small stand-alone structure: mine was a small cabin and the guy next to me was staying in one of those old '50s trailers. Bathrooms and showers are good; can either use the ones outside the main house or those inside. Really fun place. Only a few minutes north of town. Okay to cook your own food in the main house, which has 2 kitchens. Good choice to stay there as long as you don't need a big room.」

「Absolutely wonderful accommodation. Right at the edge of a lake, with canoes/kayaks and fire pit by the water. Great continental breakfast provided in our room. Microwave, dishes, etc. Friendly staff and COMFORTABLE beds. Great water pressure in the shower. Located near Healy and Denali National Park - close enough, but still quiet. And several nights in a row, from one to six moose would casually wander across the shore - LITERALLY within 100 feet of us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.」

The footprint is small and cozy, and the place was clean and exceptionally well maintained, with everything I needed for a quick trip. 「This place is a SCAM. We arrived at the address to find a derelict building in a bad neighborhood with sketchy seeming people outside. There was no one available to provide a key. We tried a door, which led down a stair to three locked doorways. We felt insecure, so we left and had to book an alternate hotel. Luckily an Uber picked us up. One star given only because no other choice is provided.」

「They cancelled the stay. Apparently not an AirBnB anymore. They never contacted me directly, Expedia contacted me to let me know. However it is stuck on my itinerary. One day before the trip I got an email from the property owner saying N/A. Not available. By now I knew that and I guess I would have expected some form of communication from them months prior. I booked in January for an end of May trip.」
