"Amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and unbelievably helpful with recommendations and help to make reservations. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with our own private patio. The location is ideal, 15min drive to town but your own secluded spot with an amazing view and friendly animals. Hot breakfast each morning was delicious. "

"Absolutely breathtaking property, very charming with its rustic character. The garden was out of dream highly recommend sitting out there and watching the sunset. Lots of super friendly cats that roam the outside of the property. The rooms were lovely bed was comfortable and the staff were wonderful. Will be thinking of this property until I return!"
"There was onsite paid parking and the breakfast was delicious. The person who checked us in was wonderfully helpful and made us feel very welcome! What a beautiful town - easily one of our top stops so fa, especially because everything was so easily within walking distance. "
"The hotel was greatly overvalued/overpriced and unless you are a convention crowd I would not advise a couple to go there. The food was pedestrian at best and the wait staff was unable to answer how the meal would be prepared. As a result I received a meal I would not have ordered if it were accurately described. I should have sent it back.
In the rooms you pay if you use expresso pods and still water.
The bathrooms are small and tight (difficult to maneuver in the shower.)
The rooms are far from reception and to carry luggage/packages with stairs is difficult to deal with. To be fair the rooms are large, albeit dark. The bed was comfortable.
The internet was intermittent and unavailable a good amount of time.
The two days we were there we could not use our balcony patio due to repair cranes used to clean the roof tiles and to repaint being adjacent thereto.
The property is about 10 minutes from town by car and there is nothing one can reasonably walk to from there. That said, the adjacent church is very beautiful and my visit to it was the highlight of the stay.
It was our last hotel on our two week visit to the country and easily the one we wish we had not booked."
"We have stayed here a few times and the staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. I would suggest picking your room carefully as some of the smaller rooms are better suited for men traveling alone than for an older couple. it is lovely and charming over all and a very short walk to the points of interest in Evora. good food for all meals that we had."
"Clean and tidy cosy little flat. We had the flat 001, which as is own entrance at number 54, separate from the 52.
The outside swimming pool looked lovely, unfortunately wasn't hot enough to enjoy it.
Everything in the flat was perfect, even a washing/ drying machine. Which with little ones is a plus..
The only downside would be the noise of the guests of the other rooms. And the cars and people outside. You can ear them very well, like they are next to you...
But that wasn't a reason to reduce my review.
Check in / out was fast and easy. It's a great location, walking distance to everywhere around Evora.

"It is a beautiful property. However, if you are not staying here with small children you may be disappointed. The hotel clearly markets itself as very child and family friendly, and it has dedicated children’s areas that are very close to main areas such as the dining room. As a result it is not peaceful in many areas of the property. Even dedicated adult swimming pool hours in the spa are not respected by guests with their children. And the dining room at dinner was not at all peaceful. They should work toward separating the noise from main areas, as they have plenty of space. Also, one should avoid Room 207 as it is adjacent to the housekeeping staging area and one can hear noises of the linen carts throughout the day. "
