"Great location, and the place was spacious for a family of four. It was very neat and clean. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with a nice variety of English and South Indian options, both hot and cold. The supermarket in the hotel was reasonably priced, and there are plenty of shops, including an ice rink, within the hotel. Overall, excellent value for money."

"The room was lovely. I was surprised that it had 2 balconies.We had to leave at 9:40 p.m. because we had a flight that leaves at 2:15 a.m. on Jan. 16th. We liked the location because we could walk to the souk. It was also quiet in the evening. We had been at the Marriot which had parties with blaring loud speakers which made it impossible to sleep. I went down to the lobby at midnight to ask them to lower the music. Lots of "sorry mam" but nothing was done."

"Dubai is a city of striking contrasts: gleaming futuristic skyscrapers on one side, and the timeless charm of its historic quarters on the other, evoking the magic of Arabian Nights. I’m particularly drawn to the latter—the authentic, atmospheric Old Dubai. Staying at the Arabian Boutique Hotel more than fulfilled my long-held dream of experiencing Arabia as it must have been a long time ago. The hotel and its rooms are truly beautiful, blending traditional architecture with modern comforts ( the bathroom!! ) all set in the the historic district. I have to give special mention to Sona (forgive any misspelling) and her colleague. After nearly 30 minutes of frustration with a lost and increasingly aggravated taxi driver navigating the labyrinthine streets, they personally came to meet me nearby—walking nearly two blocks (though “block” hardly describes the maze of medieval alleyways!)—to collect my luggage and guide me safely to the hotel. Their exceptional kindness and hospitality turned what could have been a stressful arrival into a warm welcome. My entire stay was wonderful, peaceful, and deeply immersive. If you’re seeking the what was of Dubai—its narrow lanes and genuine cultural vibe—I highly recommend this boutique gem in the Al Fahidi (Bastakiya) area. It’s the perfect escape from the glizzy and a true taste of Arabian heritage."
