"Ok, this hotel is not right off the JR Station in big bright lights but its only to blocks away tucked in off a not do busy road and you can not beat the value! The front desk staff is professionals and super friendly! The woman that checked us in worked around the language barrier with a smile! The lobby is comfortable with a seating area with a fireplace. The building is safe posted registered guests only and need room card to get elevator access. You have 3 options for housekeeping which are, no cleaning, towels/garbage collection/make the bed no linen change or full daily service. On your way to your room there is a area that has all the different bath and room amenities that you could need, including unlimited coffee and tea. The rooms are in thd Japanese small category but this hotel makes use of every square inch! The details! The room is clearly geared towards the business man, with the shoe care products and trouser press. Notice how long ghe shoe horn is! Beds are comfortable, several outlets available, universal charger provided, bed light controls, glasess, mugs, kettle, small frig, bedside organizer, table top mirror, pajamas, table and chair, wall moun TV, wifi, air filter, and hot heat/freezing cold air-conditioning! The bathroom is small but has a tub! Plenty of hot water and a simple comfortable bidet. The entire building and rooms are super clean and not dated. There is a laundry room and vendng machines. Will stay here again if I visit Akita again. "

"5 minute walk from Akita station, there are plenty of food options around and shopping malls nearby to do souvenir shopping. Plenty of attractions nearby like the park opposite and the Akita Inu station behind. The onsen on the top floor was also enjoyable, and had free dessert right outside. There's also free noodles at night for supper. Great place to stay for day trips from Akita."

"Hotel was very accommodative of our request for an extra rollaway bed and the room was very large. The only thing to note is that there is no parking onsite and the laundry charges are charged per piece (as opposed to a simple coin laundry). The hotel is very near to food and shopping options and is essentially in the heart of the city. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely book again if given the chance. "

"Quiet area, right next to the coast and the Akita tower (which is free to visit at anytime, even at night when the shops close). Supermarket right next door. This area is more suburban, but still a handful of small restaurants nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk from Tsuchizaki train station. Not walkable from downtown Akita. You need to take the train or bus to get to Akita, but the train is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of options even if you are vegetarian. Less options if you are vegan, but you can still eat some of the options they have on hand. They serve different foods everyday, so there is variety. The hot baths are excellent. They segregate the baths by sex (two completely separate rooms). The female baths are kept locked and the key is kept at the front desk. I appreciated this, as I felt safe using the hot baths since I can use the key to lock the door behind me after I enter."
