Great, spacious living and kitchen area, with three doors to the outside, air conditioning in all rooms (which we did use in the evenings once the mosquitos came out and we had to shut windows), private secure courtyard with lovely plunge pool. Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. "This villa is in a quiet corner of the village of Lavilledieu, yet is convenient for all the Ardeche has to offer. All the rooms are on one floor, and in particular include a large conservatory which opens fully into a small patio which is ideal for eating out. The hosts are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. In fact my son was lent a bike to explore part of the countryside at no cost! The pool is also very inviting."

"My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks just enjoying the sun and the silence. Amazingly hot even in September!! The villa is certainly peaceful but all is on hand nearby for everyday living.
