"We stayed here 2 nights after a day cruise from Koblenz, the hotel is in an excellent location, our room was across the street from the main building on the first floor, there was an outdoor patio to sit at, drink wine and watch people walk by, we ate breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and both meals were very good. "I was just passing through - and the hotel was adequate. It seems accommodation is at a premium along the Rhine, and hotels such as this have existed for decades or longer. It was German in character, therefore clean and functional - but nothing special or 'polished'. Some good restaurants nearby. Note that hotels in this area have a road in between the Rhine. This can lead to some traffic noise. A normal hotel breakfast was provided. "

A truly amazing hotel in a historic castle
"We had the most amazing stay, in fact, the best stay in our one-month trip in Germany. Our room was in the villa and opened up to a wonderful view overlooking the Rhine. It was grand, palatial, with a high ceiling, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. Service was excellent at reception and restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully provided, including tea n coffee making facilities, bathrobes, high quality toiletries, and even bedroom slippers. We felt pampered like royalty, and really couldn’t have asked for more. "
