Hi!Can I just say that this place is amazing?! The house decor is spot on with the theme of lake getaway. The host was very responsive to questions and answered all my questions prior to arrival and while we were there. We went for a weekend getaway after the holidays with our 4 kids and they were all fighting over who got to sleep in the loft. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us. In fact, there was a bed for everyone. It was so nice and cozy that no one asked for us to turn the TV on. They were constantly exploring something. The highlight was fishing off the heated boat slip during the winter. Would love to come back during the spring/summer to catfish at night. We enjoyed the small town feel of the surrounding areas and the idyllic shopping. The kids liked the pizza place in town called Goodfellas. I enjoyed the tea bar at the Local Farm to Table. My husband liked the One Eyed Monkey for a good burger. We could have spent more time at Har-Ber Village but did not plan to enjoy it that much! We randomly stopped by the Legacy of Liberty Memorial Park (almost could walk to it). The stories and equipment there are a sight to see. They even have a Higgins boat! What a wonderful getaway without the stress of the big city. We will definitely be back!
