"Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a beach, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices."

We loved our stay and Davina was always available by text or phone.Our one caution is that at 80 years old, the bed in the larger cottage is difficult to access --but we did, and it is very comfortable.
