"I liked that it was a very quaint, pretty little cottage in a very good location - within walking distance of the town centre but not too close for it to be noisy. The passing traffic in the morning can be quite noisy at times but nothing terrible at all. The lady who owns the property has obviously put a lot of thought into little extras and items you might find useful when staying away from home, which were greatly appreciated. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."

"The location was fabulous and our room had an amazing view over the beach. We had dinner in the bar area and had a window seat overlooking the sea. The food was wonderful and the staff worked really hard to provide excellent service. Harriet was chatty, friendly and really concscientious and is a real credit to the team. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Just home from a overnight stay here. 4 double rooms was booked and couldn't of been happier. Was greatest by a very friendly girl who explained everything we needed to know. We unpacked and got changed after a long day motorcycling. Headed down for food which was outstanding complete with desert. After we went into the bar for a few games of pool and drinks. All the staff and locals was super friendly. The rooms complete with tea/coffee facilities freeview tv double bed shower over bath. 👌 great night's sleep for all. Breakfast in the morning was perfect just the right size complete with help your self cereals and juice. Full English with toast included with your stay. We paid £70 per room and was worth every penny. Thank you and as 4 bikers we felt very welcomed and will certainly use again. "
