「Absolutely loved our stay. We had 3 nights (spent one day self-driving in Addo Elephant Park and one day on a safari at a nearby private game reserve). Lovely place with really lovely and friendly staff and good food. Excellent location near the entrance to Addo Elephant Park. Highly recommend staying here!」

「This is a comfortable venue for any traveler. all the shops are conveniently close by and a on site restaurant it makes even convenient. whether staying overnight or for a week, this definitely the place to stay. 」

「The accommodation itself is good, the large garden is well maintained, the dinner and breakfast were good, the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, our room smelled very musty, brown water initially ran out of the tap, which didn't make a good impression.」

「Smallish lodge with informative game drives. Staff really nice a friendly. Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a couple of Hippo's hanging out the front. Food good without being over the top. Given the weather, didnt get to make much use of the outdoor area, but would be nice in summer. My only gripe is when I neede to cancel and rebook, it took almost 2 months and the commencement of credit card chargeback to get my refund (which was not disputed). 」

On negative side -large airy village units only have warmish water not hot - village units outdoor showers had waist high weeds - supper menus are 5 course set menus that are repeated & are expensive for quality - restaurant staff lacking management & training - receptionists could do hostessing/oversight at meal times & spot checks on housekeeping/condition of units and gardens to support and train staff but do not - lack of comfy...

「Had a short stay. The Hostess was friendly, patient & accommodating. The property is situated in a peaceful neighborhood. The beach is a 'stone-throw' from the accommodation. Sadly, though... the restaurants/eateries are approximately 10-15kms drive away. 」

「We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended.」

「Die Bilder der Unterkunft vermitteln mir eine gehobene Mittelkasse, was ich persönlich nicht so empfand. Die Couch im Wohnzimmer ist durchgesessen und weißt starke Gebrauchsspuren auf, welche durch eine Decke verdeckt werden. Ca 100m neben an befindet sich eine Tankstelle, ein SPAR und ein Parkplatz, welcher rege von großen Trucks genutzt wird, Obwohl das Appartment zur Fluß Seite liegt, empfand ich entspanntes relaxen auf dem großzügigen Balkon etwas schwierig. Besitzer und Manager uninteressiert und und unfreundlich. Preis/Leistung schlecht -> Unterkunft an sich in Ordnung aber zu teuer. Würden hier nicht wieder hin gehen.」
