"The property had loads of character, the rooms were all as described and it was well stocked (bathrooms, toys, games/puzzles, kitchen etc) Was perfect for a family weekend getaway for 8 of us. Location was quiet, but we weren’t after a busy town/village on this occasion. Only downside was a slight smell of sewerage or possibly rodent urine in the upstairs bathroom that may be needs looking into. But overall a great stay and everyone enjoyed the property, thank you."

"This was the perfect place for a family get-together. All the bedrooms are lovely and the lounge/dining areas are perfect for such a large group. The property is extremely well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every room is perfectly and evenly heated in the colder weather and wood-burning stoves add a lovely focal point. The owner was friendly and helpful at all times."

"We had a great one week stay at Carisbrooke, Steve and Maureen were fabulous hosts. On arrival they had baked us bread, cake and a rhubarb crumble all very delicious plus they had left us some eggs from their allotment and homemade jam. "The bedroom was small but clean & comfortable. The outside space could have been swept as it was very warm & great to sit outside for a pre-dinner drink. Breakfast choice was good although the orders both mornings didn’t quite get right. Great location for the train station only 10 mins taxi ride. "

"Arrived early and the lady on reception arranged for our room to be made up to allow us to check in, above and beyond service. Lovely room and we were lucky to have air con on the hottest day of the year. Bar area nice we didn't eat so can't rate the food. Only slight niggle was there was no outside area to enjoy the sun"
