The staff was very courteous and friendly. However, the room we were assigned on the first night was quite a shock. The shower was located in the bedroom with only a single glass wall for separation. There was no sofa and only one chair in the room, as well as just one small bath towel provided. Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation. The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen. Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern.

Everything about the property was excellent — clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped, with a great atmosphere and attentive service. The only small detail worth noting is that there was no hair balsam/conditioner provided. Other than that, the stay was truly perfect.

He alarmed the whole city and the people pulled up lots and lots of buckets of water, up all 538 steps, to extinguish the flames... Until it suddenly disappeared. It was a misty day, and when the moon slipped through the haze, the people realized there never really was a fire.. They were actually trying to extinguish the moon. That is why the people of Mechelen are still called the Moon Extinguishers today!
