It’s walkable distance to the Abita Brew Pub, Abita Cafe (great breakfast!), a snowball stand/coffee hut, the Abita Springs museum and more. Darling house with wrap around porch and nice backyard. "What a great place, my wife and I booked for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived near dark on Friday, don’t think you are going to far down the gravel road. The entire property is very secluded and private. The unit was very clean and well appointed. Nearly everything you need for cooking. We had such a great time we didn’t want to leave. We will be back. "

"Host was extremely neglectful in communicating about the stay. I had the stay booked 6 months in advance for a 30 day stay while I was in town working, and he cancelled the entire trip at 1 in the morning on the date of check in. He did not give any explanation as to why or even so much as apologize for the incredible disrespect."
