"We had a large group of friends holiday with families. We rented the entire accommodation. It was clean and tidy and a great location. The views are amazing. A good communal area so we could all be together for cooking meals. The pool area was beautiful and clean. You do need a car for access as it is quite tucked away in the mountain. "Simply stunning place right away from it all in the Tuscan hills. We loved the pool, the quiet area and generally feeling relaxed. Barga was close and nearby with more than enough shops etc for food. The owner was so kind and welcoming, it was like staying with family! Definitely 5 stars from us!"

"This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. "Sizable villa perfect for our 3 families. The house had everything we needed and the views were amazing. We cooked a lot. The pool is a decent size for swimming. The village is quiet. The road access isn't for the feint hearted, the climb is steep and there are lots of blind corners, so we chose to get home each night before dark at 9pm but it didn't put us off - we liked the seclusion. Great area of Italy to visit Lucca and the surrounding hill top villages and towns."
