First time back to Norwood Hall in many years and it has not disappointed us in any way. Staff were very attentive but not in an intrusive way at all. Very enjoyable stay.
Outdated and extremely overpriced hotel. Pretty cold too. One heater in our room. Didn’t do much unfortunately. Very rustic looking from the outside which was nice and your pretty close to a big shopping centre tho.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Beautiful facility with great and accommodating staff. My only complaint was the room we had (528) needed some TLC. The paint was terribly scuffed on some of the walls which made the room appear neglected and dirty.
Norwood Hall Hotel, Aberdeen
Norwood Hall Hotel presents a striking first impression with its richly panelled interiors in the reception, bar, and restaurant areas, evoking a sense of traditional Scottish elegance. However, our stay was in the more modern wing, which offered a refreshing contrast. Our room was spacious, tastefully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable.
We dined in-house and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal of fish and chips, which was well-prepared and satisfying. Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive, with a generous selection and high-quality ingredients and excellent service.
Throughout our stay, the service was consistently excellent. Norwood Hall blends classic charm with modern comfort, making it a memorable and enjoyable base for exploring Aberdeen.
Lovely characteristic hotel with very professional staff. A quiet get away for those needing it to relax and recoup. A bit expensive considering there was no pool, hot tub or sauna & steam facilities but the hotel it's self is absolutely beautiful.
We liked the peaceful setting and the staff made you feel special, very attentive but not fawning over you. The hotel had an old world charm but efficiently run with modern technology. Food and service excellent.
I contacted the hotel ahead of my stay and the amazing staff arranged a birthday treat in our room.
Very friendly, helpful staff.
Lovely room, big bath 😊
The grounds and common areas are stunning and very luxurious. Dinner and breakfast were also very good. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating as well.

Gorgeous hotel with impressive stair cases and beautifully decorated. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very impressive with lots to chose from.
Love staying here, so peaceful and relaxing.
Have stayed many times over the years.
A lovely old building, no pool or spa or beauty rooms, so if that's your preference this is not the place for you.
Staff are always lovely and helpful.
Great hotel with super comfortable rooms, great service from Robert and Jan.
Breakfast was well made and the dining room has a somewhat stately quality.
