「We were very warmly welcomed at the Chateau by the friendly staff who kindly carried our cases up the winding stairs to a very comfortable spacious room. Despite the age of the Chateau the room had all the 'mod-cons' one hopes for these days. The bathroom had both a lovely outsized bath and a separate rain shower with good water pressure and modern fittings. The bed was a large king size with very comfortable mattress and pillows.
