This was a lovely place to stay while we visited the Kisakata beach. The host was incredibly helpful and picked us up when we went to the wrong train station. The host had sent a message with our initial reservation that the Google Maps directions were wrong but I missed that information. So for future visitors: DO NOT follow the Google Maps directions. Very much a Japanese experience for those wanting one. A bit on the expensive side however.

You will feel history of samurai era by staying at this property.

Room was clean and convenient to the station. Many neat art pieces in the lobby.

You can have free ramen while 21:30-23:00, and it’s pretty good.

The room was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I didn't have the breakfast nor use the parking so I can't speak to those areas. I had an amazing stay and really enjoyed my room and the location. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

This is a great place to have an authentic Japanese experience. The traditional rooms with tatami floors were spacious and clean. The bedding was light and warm. The onsen experience was very pleasant. The traditional breakfast was flavorful and so were the welcome snacks. Definitely a valuable experience for those visiting the area.

Hotel Route Inn Omagari was spotless, good breakfast and very nice hot baths. We have always had a good experience with these hotels. Small rooms but very adequate.

Loved their complimentary breakfast. They changed some side dish menu every day so I never got tired of it. You might need to wait in the line right after the serving time starts (6:30AM). Although the seats are limited, there’s an option to take out food to your room. Convenience store is located in the same building, which is big help especially for travelers’ first day.

Our room was more spacious than many of the hotels that we’ve stayed at in Japan. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great!
