There was one disappointment. Why does a hotel with a USP all about being built of wood have fake, plastic trees scattered around? Please, please get rid of the plastic trees."

"Excellent hotel in all places...Jorn! This was our second time staying here. First time was January of 2023. This is a new hotel. We stayed in the deluxe double room and it is a comfortable size. Beds are comfortable, room is clean. When you want your room made up just put the sign on the door handle. Daily room service is not automatic. Check-in is across the street at the Reception/Restaurant. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, buffet style. If only a few rooms are occupied then breakfast...

"I didn’t like the self check-in system. And it was difficult to make out where to park the car as the whole of the hotel grounds where covered in deep snow. It was not possible to have dinner at the hotel, unless you are part of a conference or pre-book with minimum 15 persons. I don’t like the dinner plate system either, to re-heat a meal left by the chef to warm up. Apart from that the room was very basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. "Great location, but overall the hotel was very quiet in the middle of the most hectic holiday season. We only saw one personnel as a staff and she handled everything from reception to breakfast. There was only one other couple during our stay and this created quite odd feeling. Someone might like this and for others it might be awkward experience.
