"For those who are looking to luxuriate in the onsens of the Kii península… This is a place not to be missed. The cave onsens, especially, were both gorgeous and healing… The other ones perhaps a bit rundown, but still quite a treat. The staff were great (and multi-lingual) and my room was squeaky clean. "The hotel is well located near the main road, so pretty accessible if you arive by car. The train station is also not far. The facility is well maintained, room condition good, and the staff friendly. Highly recommended."

"This guesthouse was clean, modern . It had two rooms of tatami bedrooms with tv. There is a living room which has comfortable couches that can be converted into a bed. Nice kitchen, shower, washer. Very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent."

"This is a beautiful resort area with friendly staff (I was directed to a super kind, completely fluent English employee which was a surprise!) and very fun activities to partake in. This resort has the most beautiful coastal views in Japan, from your room (we got a beautiful view of the bay in the Nagisakan-wing of the resort) and from the beautiful cavern-hot springs. I've never been to a hot spring along the Pacific Ocean, let alone one in a huge cave along the cliffside overlooking the ocean!...
