When I was about to arrive, and told they had no room for me, I had to scramble and book another stay hours away in a town I didn't want to/intend to stay in. I have YET to receive a refund from the hotel and/or Expedia for this oversight. They did accommodate me the next night, but not in the original room type I requested."

"The hotel and staff are fantastic and we had a wonderful time. But I am unhappy with the $1000 deposit required at check in. First I find it far too high and second the process to refund it was very strange. At check in they charged my credit card $1000 and then at check out they said they had to run it again for another $1000 before they could refund the original $1000. "The property in still in a phase of construction/ remodel on one of the buildings but that did not hamper our stay at all. They were very attentive and accommodating. We had a booking issue with expedia and Antonio was great to compensate for the error and put us in a room when he had none. It all worked out great in the end Like to give a shout out to Cesar as well."

"The place is on top of a hill which gives you an spectacular ocean view. In the morning you can hear birds and the amazing sound of the ocean waves below. It is a place to enjoy nature, views, tranquility, the beach, sand, just to breathe fresh air. It’s a quiet atmosphere, not a party place. I love this quietness and I will come back soon. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. There is no refrigerator in the room, so i guess we better bring a cooler with ice next time. It’s really an amazing experience in Playa Destiladeros, Pedasi "
