"Very good,location no good"

"The room was clean and the staff was nice and kind, the morning breakfast had a wonderful variety of fresh options, highly recommend and definitely will return again."

"Was my second stay at Akita Castle Hotel and the quality continued to be excellent. "

"Hotel is about an easy mile walk from the train station but is very near lots of eateries. Onsen is lovely, free ramen in the evenings made for a relaxing evening after a long day and the bread was nice."

"Loved their complimentary breakfast. They changed some side dish menu every day so I never got tired of it. You might need to wait in the line right after the serving time starts (6:30AM). Although the seats are limited, there’s an option to take out food to your room. Convenience store is located in the same building, which is big help especially for travelers’ first day."

"Much better all around compared to other Route Inn properties. "

"One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in Japan. Great location for food. Super helpful staff. "
