"I liked our room with the view of the harbor. It could have been cleaner. Our room had toilet paper, liquid soap, and two towels. There were no cups, glasses, tissues, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, or lotion. No USB ports. Talk about sparse! Good thing it was only one night and inexpensive."

We had one tour scheduled to start early in the AM so the staff was eager to prepare a breakfast for us to eat in our room as their breakfast time did not start until 8:30. "Loved the neighborhood and the view from the restaurant on the outdoor patio is amazing! Convenient location if you are taking a cruise. The hotel offers a shuttle. Only downfall is the hotel is hard to find. It’s situated down a path where no cars can go. You will need to walk a bit, and go down some stairs to get to the property. "

"The renovations to this property were well done. There is an elevator, however they have two beautiful staircases. The location is across the street from a beautiful museum, great views, and a few restaurants to choose. They also can arrange for transportation from Santiago airport to the hotel, as well as work with tour operator to provide custom tours of the city and surrounding area."

"Do not prepay this hotel, I prepaid through Expedia and when I got there they claimed I was supposed to pay directly at the hotel, and had no records that I had already paid. I was allowed to check in without paying again, but they still took my credit card for additional expenses (in case I use the minibar or restaurant) 5 days later they still have not reversed the pre authorization in my credit card for $100 Usd. Hotel is clean but events downstairs create a noisy environment"

"We feel very lucky to have been able to reserve a room with a lovely panoramic view of Valparaiso and the bay. The staff were amazing, and the location excellent. We happened upon the Concepcion funicular, an inexpensive way to get down to the harbor area. The neighborhood has many walking tours to look at the street art. A shout out to the staff—Karen who checked us in and was so helpful, Pablo the manager and Melissa on the afternoon shift. Loved this hotel and would choose this one again. "

"Amazingly situated building in a great area, right by cool restaurants, bars, and things you'll want to visit. Fair warning: the local youths hang out on the steps below the hotel well into the night. So while they're mostly harmless and keep to themselves, you will hear them. "
