"Experience was excellent for family visit to the city "

"What a great hotel! The location could not be better for exploring downtown Utrecht on foot. We easily walked to the hotel from the train station-with our big suitcases even. There are a lot of shops and restaurants right outside the hotel's location. The room is dark, cool and quiet (there was a little noise on Friday night which can't be helped due to the central location and there are ear plugs provided). The room is also very unique and we enjoyed looking out our window over the roof...

"Excellent location in the old town and within easy walking of th Central Station. The rooms are spacious and well outfitted. The breakfast, however, was disappointing. Instead of a buffet with a good selection of dishes, the staff bring out a tray of their choice of offerings that were below the pevel of quality I associayte with most Dutch hotels. And only one kind of jam was available, which is genuinely disappointing."

"I really enjoyed our stay, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and really nice rooms. The food and service in the restaurant was good with enough choice and flexibility for kids. The hotel was clean and well taken care of but a bit more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms since I found some hairs in the shower and in one of the beds. Still, great place to stay and if I ever come back to the area I will definitely stay here again."

"Very clean, modern hotel which is very good value if you don't mind the absence of a wardrobe or the loudish, non-controllable aircon. The location is convenient and the price is low for Utrecht. It's right next to a station and a tram route and 5 minutes walk from the edge of the old town. The sound of the aircon bothered me but my wife didn't notice so I suppose it depends on your tolerance to background noise. It would have been nice to be able to turn it down or off but there are no controls...

The hotel is very conveniently located - it's within walking distance of quick food options, the train station, and grocery store options. "Booked as a “standard double room”, it looked nothing like picture on Hotels.com. Looked out on a great wall (see photo), very small, no desk or place to put stuff, no hotel phone, incorrectly informed about maid services. Friendly staff but poorly trained. I stayed at room 25 and they have rooms with a view of the market but not clear how to book those."
