I had to wait about 30 minutes whilst staff went to get towels and soap, as well as a floor-standing fan - there was a fan already in the room but it was broken with the guard cover on the floor. "The good: The lady at the front desk was very nice Needs improvement: Room and property were run down and a bit dirty, air conditioner was not powerful enough to actually cool the room, all four pools were green with algae, food was quite bad and there were few dining options (no room service, very limited ability to eat outside of the buffet)"

"Good idea but lacks in execution. The only positives for me are the front desk staff and comfortable bed. On the negatives, the rooms are too dark and stuffy (install dimmers instead), cleanliness can be improved upon... some areas were dusty and there were blood stains (guessing mosquito blood) on parts of the mosquito net and bed sheets, the mosquito net had big holes, mosquito repellent spray was not available, shower inadequate."

"We have been in Madagascar 3 weeks and Tropical Paradise Hotel is still our favorite hotel. It is a short tuk tuk ride from town and tuk tuks wait at the road. The staff is amazing, the restaurant is good and the rooms are comfortable except the bed. The only negative we have is that the mattress was thin and after 5 nights it got pretty uncomfortable. I wish I had asked the staff to change it though, because I bet they would have."

"Perfect location!! Easy walk to a multitud of restaurants. Right on the beach! Perfect balconies to take in the beautiful sunsets. Onky down side was there was quite a few days where there was no power for hours to only several units (ours being one of them) in the building. The repairs seemed to always be temporary. Hope this is now fully rectified."

"Petit hotel trés agréable à Nosy Be. Les bungalows sont trés jolis et agréables. Point fort, la piscine, qui est grande et belle, extrêmement agréable aprés une journée de balade dans Nosy Be. La plage n'est pas trés belle (les belles plages sont plutôt sur les autres îles autour de Nosy Be), mais c'est quand même un vrai plus d'avoir un accès direct à la mer et le coucher de soleil sur la mer est magnifique !
