"We could not fault our stay at Hotel Garni Selene, it has a beautiful pool and lovely large balconies, all with an uninterrupted view of the lake. All of the hotel was spotlessly clean. It was a great location for us and we used the shuttle bus several times to go into Malcesine. The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would haven no hesitation in returning to hotel Garni."

"Highly recommend a stay at Hotel Aurora! Its right in the heart of Malcesine overlooking a plaza and is the perfect location to explore the entire town, and to people watch. The room was big and bright, with lots of room to unpack clothes, a little desk, and a large bathroom. Room cleaning is available every day. We loved staying here!"

"This little hotel was really outstanding. Very clean, excellent service, wifi worked well. Great location overlooking the lake. Underground parking was tight but very manageable. We had to leave early on the day of departure so they even went out their way to set up some breakfast for us specifically. A bit of a walk to Malcesine itself - would recommend the bus or driving rather than walking. Bus stop is a few mins walk from the hotel and buses are frequent."

"The staff were very nice. Liked the breakfast. The room was simple but cannot complain for the price. Tge parking was super small, so you have to watch out not to hit the corners. We walked down to Torbole central area for dinner."

"I have just come back from a stay at hotel baitone which overall I was not impressed with at all. The room itself was good and very clean as was the restaurant but the location of the hotel was not what it was described on the website. It wasn’t in Malcesine it was 7 kilometres outside of the town which we had to get a taxi to or walk which was one hour and 17 mins. Very disappointedin the hotel.com website which I will never use again "

"The Remo is fabulous. Such a lovely location on Lago Di Garda with great hospitality and service! Wonderful breakfast, dog friendly beach and some of the best Pizza I’ve had! All right there!! Not to mention a large apartment with really comfortable beds that is so important and to save the best for last, air conditioners it actually really work. Two of them in our apartment. "Great location. Just 50 metres from a quiet almost private beach. Town only 5 minute walk. Parking was useful. No air conditioning was tough in hot conditions. "

"The apartment was clean and roomy with a lovely view over the lake. The Lady who looked after the apartments was friendly and helpful and was waiting to let us in when we arrived in the night. The location is excellent, just out of the main town but only a short walk, 5-10 minutes to the centre. Although there is only reception cover for a couple of hours a day at the most the sister hotel is easy and convinient to find in the town and again reception there are very helpful if you need anything....

"Room's and bathroom need an update, no AC, no coffee maker no fridge, mattress and pillows are old, and the price they ask for 1night is way to much. Zero star rating.... We had to leave early (7:00 am) we could not get a coffee because breakfast was at 7:30........"

"The hotel was not in Riva del Garda as stated on Hotels.com. It is actually 9 miles out of Riva, up a very steep, narrow and windy road which we were nearly run off of!! There is nothing around the hotel at all to do, so you would need transport. The hotel owners spoke no English, the TV in the room didn't work and the pool was covered over even though the description on Hotels.com states that the pool is open seasonally, I think early August is peak season and expected the pool to be usable.
