"The hotel view was lovely and the sound of the waves crashing up from the patio was nice but this place feels more like a one star to me. There was zero wifi even though they claimed there was and the AC stopped working around 1230am. We woke up boiling hot and suffered until we left at 8am. I enjoyed the pool and the location but sadly would not be back."

The accommodations at Veneri Boutique Hotel were top notch. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I during our trip to Chania. The room looks exactly like the pictures posted, nice and modern, sleek and clean! The bed was very comfortable.
- Airport Transfer: when I arrived there was a taxi awaiting my arrival. Same for my departure all coordinated by the staff.
-Breakfast: Sheesh ❤️ more food than we could eat and cooked to order, we left stuffed each morning. The...

This property is in the heart of Old Town Chania, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, the harbor, and other attractions. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout my stay.
The property consists of two private units, each with elevator access. I stayed in the first-floor unit, which featured two bathrooms and the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. The host also welcomed us with thoughtful treats and provided a helpful guide with...

The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, spacious, and featured a modern design. Everything was immaculately well-kept. It didn't lack a single amenity.
The place is well situated, very close to the old city (less than 9min walk). Street parking were nearby, with a municipal parking lot 7min walk.
A great and affordable place to stay if you want to be close to the old city.
The property manager was easily reachable and prompt to respond. Clear instructions on how to access the room.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Akrotiri. The staff and the owner were incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—they treated me like part of the family.
The buffet breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh, high-quality local products. Yesterday, I was also pleasantly surprised with a lovely little gift of local olive oil and natural honey, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

This place is the best! Location-wise, it's amazing, right on the border of Old and "new" Chania, walking distance to all the museums, shops, and historical sites and just a street down from the waterfront. If you walk in the opposite direction of the harbor, you reach a beautiful sandy beach in no time with tons of great restaurants. There's also a great coffee shop right below the rooms that serves great filtered coffee and also serves breakfast and amazing desserts. Rooms were clean, quiet,...

This was a great place to stay! Dimitris and the rest of the staff were super accommodating and very helpful. They helped us organize rides to and from places in Chania when it wasn’t walkable and were very clear with their communication. Some of the nicest people to have as hotel staff. I highly recommend this place. It’s within walking distance to the old town, the beach, and restaurants in the city center. A great experience overall!
